As president and founder Robert is the guiding force behind the day to day operations of True North. He is an industry veteran with a diverse background and deep knowledge of credit and collection polices. Robert has over 25 years experience in lending, credit risk management and collections. His background also includes executive level positions at both public and private companies specializing in collections, accounts receivable financing, equipment leasing as well unsecured lending. In 1997 he was also founder of a national commercial collection agency that implemented a national training program to help credit and collection firms train collection personal to hone their collection skills. He was instrumental in creating in-house credit and collections policies for several fortune 500 companies. His firm was ultimately acquired in 2002 by one of the most prestigious collection firms in the country.

Much like many who spend years on one “side” of an aspect of the marketplace, in 2003 Rob decided that he would devote his time helping small businesses and individuals deal with credit and collections problems head on.

Since then Rob has helped small businesses and consumers deal with the tightening credit markets by resolving their cash flow and payable problems without incurring more debt. Most recently helping consumers and businesses navigate the onslaught of rogue, overly aggressive tactics by collection agencies. He has been instrumental in helping to level the playing field by providing solutions for those facing tough times as banks and creditors recalibrate the real value of their assets. Over the past 4 years he acted as a senior director of practice development helping to develop a Debt Forgiveness Practice for a national law firm helping to negotiate over $200 million in institutionally held unsecured debt.

Rob is proficient in marketing and small business entrepreneurship with a proven track record of success in the finance and accounts receivables industry. Rob’s diverse financial background deep knowledge of collections and lending work gives True North clients greater perspective in helping them deal with economic challenges facing us today.

Rob is a devoted husband and father of three, he resides in Parkland, Florida. He is an active coach in youth sports, JA Adult Financial Literacy programs; he is an active member in several financial forums.
